    How fast do you actually deliver reels?

    Most reels go from camera to platform in 5 to 20 minutes. We have editors on standby the entire event. Stories drop continuously, reels post in batches, and a same-night recap film is available on the Iconic package.

    What's different about Live Cut Media compared to a traditional videographer?

    Traditional videographers deliver edits 24 to 72 hours after the event ends. By that time the audience has moved on and the algorithmic window is gone. We capture, edit and post during the event so your brand trends while it's still happening.

    Where in South Africa do you work?

    We're based in Johannesburg and work nationwide across South Africa. We also travel for events outside South Africa when scope and budget allow.

    What kinds of events do you cover?

    Fashion shows, brand activations, product launches, festivals, nightlife residencies, hospitality openings, sponsor takeovers, and creator-led campaigns. If your event is built to be seen online, we're a fit.

    How much does it cost?

    We work in three event tiers. Curated is for intimate launches and boutique events. Elevated is for fuller event coverage with 8 to 15 reels and trend edits. Iconic is for premium multi-camera, multi-person production with priority same-day delivery. Pricing is tailored to each brief: event size, hours, equipment and production needs, so we quote per enquiry. Click Book a Call and we'll shape a quote within the hour.

    Do you only do event work?

    No. We also offer monthly content retainers for brands wanting always-on social content, and per-video AI-generated product video packages. All three offerings are on the All Services page, and we'll quote around your brief.

    What is the 'Why Aren't You Here?' reel?

    It's a signature reel format we shoot at every event, designed to communicate the energy and vibe to people who couldn't attend. Drives FOMO, drives engagement, drives next-time RSVPs. Included in all three event packages.

    Can you cover sponsors and brand partners separately?

    Yes. We can layer sponsor-specific reel batches and brand-partner content on top of the event coverage. This is built into the Elevated and Iconic packages and is available as an add-on on Curated.

    Do you provide raw footage?

    Edited final reels are included with every package. Raw footage and additional cuts are available on request and quoted separately. We can also licence delivered content for use in your paid media campaigns.

    What equipment do you bring?

    Cinema and mirrorless cameras, lighting, audio, a rotating ring setup, mobile-editing rigs, and on-site upload capability. Multi-camera and multi-person coverage on Iconic. Add-ons include 360° camera experiences, magnet printing stations, and dedicated photographers.

    How do I book?

    What happens if there's a power outage or load-shedding during the event?

    We carry our own mobile power and run on hardware that works offline. Live posting depends on cellular data, which we provide independently of the venue's connection. We've operated through load-shedding at multiple South African events without missing the window.
